Kelowna RCMP are looking for witnesses of a senior being struck by a vehicle on July 27.

At around 9:10 p.m., an 84-year-old woman was hit while crossing the street at Gordon Drive and Lequime Road in the Lower Mission neighbourhood.

She was transported to hospital with serious injuries, while the driver stayed at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation.

Some witnesses were interviewed on scene, though RCMP are asking others to come forward that may have seen the 2014 black Ford Escape that evening, or the woman wearing a fuchsia-coloured blouse and beige pants.

Anything with information is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP non-emergency line at (250) 762-3300 and reference file 2023-43714.
