The Okanagan Society of Independent Filmmaking (OSIF) is presenting its inaugural IndieFest: A short film and documentary film festival featuring locally produced films.
The OSIF has taken what it calls the best short films and short documentaries created locally, showcasing the top filmmaking and acting talent the Okanagan has to offer and will present them Thursday at the Paramount Theatre in Kelowna.
Kelowna Coun. Ryan Donn said the event is a perfect way to put the spotlight on locally made films.

OSIF board president, Kelly Veltri and board member Marc Nadeau planned the event as a way to showcase local talent and have an all-ages event as an alternative to HorrorFest, which had its seventh annual screening this past October.
There will be 11 short films and documentaries screened at the event.The list includes:

On Thursday, the Paramount香蕉视频直播檚 doors will open at 6 p.m. and films begin at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets will be available at the door or in advance at Leo香蕉视频直播檚 Video or the Film Factory.
