Traffic is stalled on Highway 1 west of Salmon Arm as emergency services respond to a motor-vehicle incident. 

DriveBC reports the incident occurred at Ford Road west of Tappen. As of 11:33 p.m. the highway was closed in both directions but detours were in effect, with light vehicles using Bolton Road to Tappen Notch Hill to Notch Hill Road and heavy vehicles moving through the Monte Lake cut off road to Highway 97.
