The secret was unveiled.
The fifth annual was held at Quails㽶Ƶֱ Gate Winery and had around 1,100 participants Thursday night.
Clad in white, residents and visitors of the Okanagan sipped wine and enjoyed a taste of France with French music, as the event originated in Paris.
One Vancouver resident made the trip to Kelowna㽶Ƶֱs event but has attended them in Whistler and plans to one day make it to Paris.
㽶ƵֱLook at the view,㽶Ƶֱ said Terry Whin-Yates, pointing to Okanagan Lake. 㽶ƵֱMy favourite is between here and Whistler.㽶Ƶֱ
Tickets sold out for the event, said co-producer Christina Ferreira.
The Wink Eye Wear gelatino bar is new this year, as well as the living mannequins, she said.
㽶ƵֱIt㽶Ƶֱs our largest event㽶Ƶֱ we are maximizing all space available to us today,㽶Ƶֱ she said.
Guests snapped selfies and photos with the mannequins throughout the evening.
Many guests also participated in the picnic in previous years.
For Central Okanagan resident Shelley Twerdochib, it was her second time.
She said it makes for a perfect date night with the beautiful surroundings and it㽶Ƶֱs a chance to dress up.
㽶ƵֱIt㽶Ƶֱs the secret location, it㽶Ƶֱs the fun night, it㽶Ƶֱs the fact that everyone is dressed in white just brings this togetherness,㽶Ƶֱ said Ferreira.
The picnic is Okanagan wide, having guests bused from Penticton and Vernon, she said.
Year after year thousands of white-clad guests descend upon one of the city㽶Ƶֱs most prestigious public spaces.
