2) In Kelowna, one overdose prevention centre opened Friday to try and address the that is claiming lives across B.C.. That site is at the former Kelowna Health Centre downtown. The proposed centre located at the Living Positive Resource Centre in Rutland did not open and looks like it may never.

3) Kelowna council for 2017 after a day of budget deliberations on Thursday.

3) West Kelowna RCMP found a 14-year-old girl safe after she was reported missing earlier this week.

4) Staying on the Westside, a West Kelowna man was Friday in connection to a shooting Nov. 6 in the 1800-block of Boucherie Road.

5) Central Okanagan-Similkameen-Nicola Conservative MP Dan Albas in the race for the Tory leadership and is named one of Bernier's three B.C. campaign chairs.
