Fundraiser for Revelstoke family who lost home, dog in fire

The funds have surpassed the goal in less than five days

As of Monday, July 17, $7,149 has been raised for those affected by a house fire that happened last week in Revelstoke. 

The money raised in the GoFundMe has well surpassed the goal of $5,000 to help the family with their living expenses. The fundraiser is being organized by Abbi Vigue. 

The f at a home in Columbia Park on Wednesday, July 10 at about 4:40 p.m.

The blaze was quickly extinguished.

While the fire caused significant damage, it was contained to the second level of the home. 

The family's dog was also reported missing after the fire, it's unclear if the pup was found.
