Two people are displaced and their dog is missing following a fire at a home in Columbia Park on Wednesday, July 10.
The Revelstoke Fire Department received a report of a residential structure fire in Columbia Park at about 4:40 p.m.
The blaze was quickly extinguished, as fire crews were prompt to the scene with one command vehicle, five fire apparatus and 21 firefighters.
While the fire caused significant damage, it was contained to the second level of the home. Luckily neither of the resident's occupants nor any of the firefighters were injured in the incident. Emergency Support Services were able to assist occupants at the scene.
The fire is under investigation.
