Traffic is backed up on Highway 97 at Drought Hill in Peachland following a motorbike crash.
The incident occurred just after 2 p.m. at the bottom of the hill.
According to witnesses the motorcyclist managed to escape with only minor injuries.
Police and ambulance remain on scene at the right side of the highway with the rider.
Traffic is backed up towards the junctions with Highway 97C.
