Crash in busy Kelowna intersection sends traffic into standstill

One of the main intersection on the stretch of highway known as Harvey Avenue in Kelowna was bogged down Monday afternoon due to a crash.

Two vehicles collided in the intersection of Gordon Drive and Harvey around 1:30p.m., causing northbound traffic on Harvey to be blocked. Ambulance, fire and police all attended the scene, though the extent of any injuries is unknown.

Both vehicles were pushed to the side of the road around a half hour later, allowing one lane to be open on Harvey for traffic.
