BREAKING: Kelowna crews extinguish grass fire from hay baler

The fire was extinguished promptly by fire crews

Three Kelowna fire trucks responded to a grass fire on Benvoulin Road.

Black smoke was seen coming from the area near 2500 Benvoulin Road at approximately 11:10 a.m on Thursday, June 13.

The blaze is believed to have started from a grass baler. Fire personnel are still in the process of extinguishing the smoke.
