Update: West Kelowna RCMP general investigative section confirmed Tura Stephen McCarty, 22, of Summerland as the man found dead in a vehicle Jan. 6, and are treating it as a homicide.
Mounties were called to the area of Bear Creek Road, approximately two kilometres past Parkinson Road, at 11:23 a.m. Jan. 6 after a report of a man found dead in a vehicle.
