UPDATE:
A boat that slipped beneath the water Sunday afternoon was recovered that same evening by fire crews.
West Kelowna Fire Chief Jason Brolund said crews were called to reports that a boat that was tied up in Gellatly Bay had sunk under water.

West Kelowna RCMP worked to locate the owner of the boat who was then called and worked with crews to remove the boat and finish clean up.
香蕉视频直播淭here was a very small amount of fuel and oil spilled and we felt that a large majority of it was absorbed by the measures the fire department and hazmat team took at the scene,香蕉视频直播 added Brolund.

Crews from the West Kelowna Fire Department as well as a hazardous materials crew are on the scene at the Westbank Yacht Club dealing with a boat that has sunk.
The boat sunk at the dock at the club boat launch and has leaked fuel and oil into Okanagan Lake.
The crews are working to put a containment boom around the oil slick while work is underway to have the boat lifted out of the lake.
The emergency call was reported at 1:50 p.m.
