Blue skies seen for a little bit

Blue skies could be seen over the weekend as paddlers make their way across Okanagan Lake.

After Saturday nightÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s rainfall and strong winds moved through the Interior, residents were given a reprieve from the smoke.

Environment Canada issued a special air quality statement for the South, Central and North Okanagan at 1 p.m. Monday.

Those in the area should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions.

However the Air Quality Health Index is still at a two out of 10 for both the South and Central Okanagan and at a three for the North.

In Kamloops the Air Quality Health Index is sitting at a nine out of 10 Ï㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥” 10 being a very high health risk.

Smoke continues to linger in the Tuesday.
