Bad Company nominated for Rock 㽶Ƶֱn㽶Ƶֱ Roll Hall of Fame

British supergroup has a connection to community of Summerland

Bad Company, whose original frontman resides in Summerland, has been nominated for the 2025 Rock 㽶Ƶֱn㽶Ƶֱ Roll Hall of Fame.

The British rock supergroup is among the nominees for this year㽶Ƶֱs hall of fame.

Other nominees for 2025 are Oasis, Joe Cocker, Chubby Checker, Billy Idol, Soundgarden, Phish, Maná, Joy Division + New Order, Cyndi Lauper, the White Stripes, Mariah Carey, the Black Crowes and Outkast.

Bad Company was formed in 1973 and included singer Paul Rodgers. Songs from the band include Can㽶Ƶֱt Get Enough from 1974, Feel Like Makin㽶Ƶֱ Love from 1975, Burnin㽶Ƶֱ Sky from 1977, Rock 㽶Ƶֱn㽶Ƶֱ Roll Fantasy from 1979 and Electricland in 1982.

The band has sold more than 40 million RIAA-certified albums worldwide.

Rodgers, who now lives in Summerland, has an extensive musical career and has been the lead vocalist of Free, Bad Company, the Firm and the Law. In addition, he has performed as a solo artist and worked with the remaining members of Queen from 2004 to 2009.
