More than 2,000 people are without power in parts of Kelowna after a motor vehicle accident knocked out power early Sunday evening.
The outage is centred around Hartman Road in Rutland and extends down to Highway 97. There are no details on the accident.

Power went out just after 6 p.m. and Fortis confirmed the outage was due to an accident shortly thereafter.
There are 2,136 customers affected and Fortis says power should be back on to all of them by 11 p.m. Sunday night.
