Another earthquake has been 'lightly felt' in Victoria, days after an early morning quake woke residents across the region.
A magnitude 3.9 about 58 kilometres south-southeast of Victoria was registered by Earthquakes Canada on Wednesday (March 5) at 4:18 p.m.
The quake, located across the border in Washington, measured at 42 kilometres deep.
Earthquakes Canada says there are no reports of damage, and none would be expected.
This is the third earthquake felt on southern B.C. in less than two weeks.
On Monday (March 3), a magnitude 4.5 earthquake, about 10 kilometres off Orcas, Wash. just southeast of Victoria, woke residents across Greater Victoria from their slumber shortly after 5 a.m.
A 5.1-magnitude earthquake hit near the Sunshine Coast, on Friday, Feb. 21, around 1:30 p.m.
