After being up 3-0 in their first-round BCHL playoff series with the Cranbrook Bucks, the West Kelowna Warriors have to win a game seven to move on to the second round.
The Warriors lost their third straight game, 4-3 in overtime, on Sunday (Apr 14) afternoon.
The Bucks opened the scoring at 6:14 when Noah Urness (2) found the back of the net. West KelownaÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s Sean Keohane (2) evened the score halfway through the frame with a short-handed goal, assisted by Trent Wilson.
Wilson put the Warriors up 2-1 at 1:40 of the second period. Dylan Krayer and Isaiah Norlin notched the assists.
Cranbrook tied the game at two on a goal by Samuel Lyne (1) at the 12:56 mark. The Bucks went up 3-2 just under two minutes into the third period. Felix Caron (4) tied it for the Warriors, on the power play, about six minutes later, with Wilson and Jackson Kyrkostas getting the assists.
The BucksÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™ Jaden Fodchuk (3) scored at the 3:13 mark of the first overtime giving Cranbrook the 4-3 win.
With the series tied at three games apiece, Game 7 is Tuesday (Apr 16) night at Royal LePage Place.
