The Okanagan Sun will be taking on the Valley Huskers on Sept. 28 for the third annual Burn Fund Classic Football Game.

The public is invited to the charity game at 4 p.m.

The first 500 fans will be given free Firestrorm t-shirts in honour of one year since the McDougall Creek wildfire.

There will be a tailgate party in the east parking lot of the Apple Bowl ahead of the game with bouncy castles, music, and games.

A full honour guard flag ceremony will open the game. Halftime entertainment will see some competition between firefighters and the kids.

Everyone age 19 and older who attends the game will receive free entry to OK Corral after the match.

The game raises funds for the Kelowna and West Kelowna Firefighters' Charitable Society.
