Canadian country music star Paul Brandt is coming to Kelowna on Oct. 5.
Hosted by East Meets West Children's Foundation, Brandt will be playing at Parkinson Rec Centre following the Diwali Dinner being served at 6 p.m.
The evening will raise awareness of human trafficking happening locally and will make Kelowna the first city in B.C. to join Brandt's initiative #NotInMyCity.
The organization #NotInMyCity was launched by Brandt in 2017 to raise awareness and take collective action against human trafficking in Canada.
East Meets West was founded in 2008 with the goal of improving the lives of children around the world. Founder Mohini Singh expects to see over 300 people come out to the dinner and show.
"What makes us different is that we have no overheads, every dollar we raise goes to charity. We are all volunteers,. We have no office, no staff, and we personally incur all the expenses as we know every dollar we donate is making a difference at home or abroad.香蕉视频直播
