Seasonal openings for Kelowna's parks, beach, sports fields

Park washrooms will open April 1, ball diamonds and sports fields open between April 4-11

KelownaÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s parks and beaches are being prepared to welcome more visitors. 
 
Park washrooms will open April 1, barring unforeseen weather conditions. Ball diamonds and sports fields open between April 4-11, also weather permitting. Ï㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥¯ 
  
Starting March 17, Kasugai Gardens will open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours will be extended to 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. after the May long weekend and until Labour Day.

Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery will open extended hours from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days-a-week starting on Saturday, March 15 and running until Oct. 15. Only fresh cut flowers may be placed on grave sites within lawn areas at this time to allow for annual ground maintenance. Candles are not permitted as the open flame poses a potential fire hazard.
