RCMP are leaving the area of Wilson and Cawston Avenue following an earlier police incident.
A resident in the area said they heard several loud bangs coming from a home that was surrounded on Wilson.
"The investigation is ongoing and details will not be released at this time," stated Kelowna RCMP.
ItÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s unclear what prompted the police situation.

One person has been apprehended at the scene of a police incident on Wilson Avenue.
RCMP could not comment if the apprehension was related the , that is blocking both Wilson and Cawston Avenue.

RCMP have surrounded a home on Wilson Avenue.
Residents in the area have been told to stay in their homes, while police are on scene.

RCMP have closed from Cawston Avenue and Wilson Avenue between Richter Street and Ethel Streets for a police incident.
At least three emergency response team vehicles are on scene.
According to police, this event is going to be occurring over the next few hours.
The public is asked to avoid the area.
