Snow, showers and slush in the forecast for the Okanagan

Many homes across the Okanagan woke up to a blanket of snow on Monday Dec. 16. 

For those that missed Frosty's arrival, Environment Canada forecasts additional precipitation throughout the week. 

Temperatures across the Okanagan will hover around 0 C for much of the week. Residents may experience scattered flurries amounting to about five centimetres by the end of the day. 

Light rain is expected mid-week as temperatures warm up. 

There are no highway alerts in effect.
