Pedestrian taken to Kelowna hospital after being struck by commercial vehicle

The incident took place just after 7 a.m.

A pedestrian is being transported to Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) after being struck by a commercial work truck.

The incident happened just after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Gordon Drive and K.L.O. Road. After the truck hit the pedestrian, they were stuck underneath the vehicle.

Fire crews, the RCMP, and emergency services arrived at the scene and attended to the pedestrian. The extent of their injuries are unknown at this time.
