The fresh snow on the ground couldn香蕉视频直播檛 stop the 2024 graduates at George Elliot Secondary School (GESS) from hosting a drive-thru fundraiser on Tuesday, Feb. 6.
Students and parents were in the parking lot at 7:30 a.m. with a variety of breakfast options available for residents to drive through and pick up on their way to work while supporting GESS in raising money for their graduation activities. They had food choices from Starbucks, McDonalds, Tim Hortons, and more as well as gift bags from the Kelowna International Airport (YLW).
They also received support at the event from IGA, Two Donkeys Bakery, Save-On-Foods, and Nesters Market.
During the event, the students were also accepting cash donations. One snow plow that drove by and didn香蕉视频直播檛 go through the drive-thru but stopped and donated $100.
The students plan on hosting a second drive-thru to raise more money in April.
