Missing senior found deceased by Kelowna RCMP, COSAR

A senior was successful found safe by Kelowna RCMP and COSAR early Tuesday morning.

On a cold, snowy, and wet night, Kelowna RCMP and Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR) were called to find a missing senior.

Just before midnight on Monday night, RCMP asked for the public's assistance in finding an 80-year-old man suffering from a medical condition, who may have been confused or disoriented.

At the time of the RCMP's press release, he was last seen at Turtle Lodges Resort at 7841 Highway 97.

Officers and COSAR went to search for the individual. RCMP confirmed at 1:45 a.m. that he was found deceased.
