The Rise Memorial Concert in Kelowna was a success.
Country star Aaron Pritchett wowed the crowd at Revelry on Sunday night, May 19.
The concert raised an estimated $20,000 for the permanent memorial to be built at Knowles Heritage Park.
The Rise Memorial will honour the lives of Jared Zook, Eric Stemmer, Patrick Stemmer, Cailen Vilness, and Brad Zawislak who died when a construction crane collapsed at a site downtown in 2021. Four of the men were working on the construction site when the incident occurred, while Zawislak had been working in a neighbouring building the crane fell on.
The money will help finalize the immediate purchase of a large Oak 香蕉视频直播淟egacy tree香蕉视频直播� for the project.
Construction on the memorial is expected to begin this summer.
