Lake Country Chamber bringing back Business After Hours

Business After Hours are networking events hosted at locally owned businesses in Lake Country

Business After Hours is returning to Lake Country.

The local Chamber of Commerce hosts the networking event to meet community members and learn more about local businesses in the district.

Director with the Chamber Luke Effa said the events took a pause during the pandemic and over the summers they focus on Music in the Park.

"Our plan going forward is really to bring these back more consistently and really encourage networking in the community," Effa said during the return of Business After Hours on Nov. 19 hosted at Lake Country Radio Cafe.

"It's a bit of a tough economy right now for a number of reasons and the more connections people are able to make, the more networking that gets done is good for everyone and good for business."

Effa noted that people don't realize Lake Country has so much to offer and they don't need to travel to nearby cities to find a service or product.

Business After Hours is open to all with an entry fee of $20 for non-members and $10 for members of the chamber.
