Kelowna's skateboard community is riding around the city to celebrate International Go Skate Day on June 21.
The multi-location skate event is hosted by and sponsored by the .
Skaters first gathered at the City Park Skate Park, before venturing to hit a feature beside the downtown bocce ball lawn. More than 50 riders were practicing on the feature at noon, with more people arriving by the moment.
After sessioning features at a few other locations, skaters will gather at Stuart Park for an evening group ride.

Both One Board Shop and the Kelowna Skateboard Association are handing out prizes to riders, including decks and stickers to riders throughout the day.
For young riders looking to improve their skills, the Kelowna Skateboard Association will be holding a
