Wok Box in Kelowna has reopened following an order to close from Interior Health on Oct. 24.
The restaurant at 1-2300 Baron Road was cited by the health authority on a number of violations for inadequate water temperature control, no access to hot water, improper sanitizing of utensils and food contact surfaces, poor sanitation, inadequate pest control measures, and inadequate hand hygiene.
In an email to Black Press, Interior Health Communications Consultant Jeff Johnson wrote that an inspected followed up with a visit to Wok Box on Oct. 25 and terminated the closure order.
