Kelowna RCMP execute search warrant in Rutland

Police are no longer stationed outside the house on Falkirk Road.

The RCMP have been stationed outside a home on Falkirk Road in KelownaÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s Rutland neighbourhood for the majority of the day on Feb.8.

However, it is not yet confirmed if the search warrant is related to the closure on the Rail Trail that occurred for most of the day on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

The Rail Trail, which was closed from the Dilworth Drive to the Leathead Road entrance, reopened to the public around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The RCMP have said that there is no concern for public safety.
