Kelowna International Airport launching daily flights to Los Angeles

The daily non-stop, seasonal, service between the two cities started Dec. 19

Kelowna International Airport (YLW) now links to Los Angeles (LAX) through Alaska Airlines.

The daily non-stop, seasonal, service between the two cities started Dec. 19. This route will operate daily, with the exception of Jan. 6-Feb. 12, 2025 when it will operate Thursday to Monday only:

  • LAX-YLW departs 10:36 a.m. arrives 1:46 p.m.
  • YLW-LAX departs 2:36 p.m. arrives 5:45 p.m.

Alaska Airlines announced earlier this year that it will resume daily flights between Kelowna and Seattle on Dec. 19. WestJet plans to resume five flights a week between the cities starting Jan. 17 and daily flights on Feb. 17.

On Dec. 17 it was announced that Porter Airlines will offer flight between Kelowna and Toronto beginning May 15, 2025.
