Kelowna had the fastest-growing monthly one-bedroom rent in the country in September.
According to the rental listing website Zumper, Kelowna experienced the biggest monthly rent increase at 6.3 per cent.
The city was also ranked the 10th most expensive rental market in the nation last month with the average prices of one and two bedrooms at $1,860 and $2,700, respectively.
The average rent for a two-bedroom apartment in Kelowna is up 12.50 per cent from Sept. 2022.
Vancouver had the most expensive average one-bedroom rent at $2,800 with Toronto ($2,540), Burnaby ($2,530), Victoria ($2,050), and Kitchener ($1,950) filling out the top five.
The cheapest rent in the country according to Zumper is Saskatoon.
A one-bedroom apartment in the city is $1,080 with a two-bedroom at $1,240.
