The Lake Country RCMP is pleading with people to 香蕉视频直播渆njoy the snow in the safest way possible,香蕉视频直播漚fter a man on a toboggan was injured while being towed behind a truck at 30km/hr.
Shortly after 3 p.m. Jan. 17, the Lake Country RCMP, fire crews and BC Ambulance responded to a call that a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle.
Upon attendance, emergency crews determined that a Ford F150 had been towing a person on a toboggan along Oyama Road near Broadwater Road at approximately 30km/hr.
According to Cpl.Birtwistle, an SUV driving in the opposite direction had attempted to avoid the truck and tobogganer when the 19 year old sledder slid into the oncoming lane. The tobogganer then swung over and collided with the rear of the SUV. The individual on the toboggan suffered numerous non life-threatening injuries and was transported to Kelowna General Hospital by ambulance.
The driver of the truck was issued a violation ticket for drive without due care and attention which will result in a $368 fine and six demerit points.
