Icy roads cause multiple crashes between Kelowna and Lake Country

Monday morning's icy road conditions

SundayÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s rain mixed with cool temperatures overnight made for slick roads, Monday morning. 

Drivers travelling from Lake Country to Kelowna on Highway 97 reported seeing as many as seven collisions before 9 a.m.

The area around Duck Lake was reported to be the most treacherous according to several comments on social media.

Multiple vehicles had slid into the ditch near the Kelowna International Airport. 

Those who drove along Glenmore Road North also found conditions to be icy.
