Help West Kelowna firefighters brighten the holidays for families

West Kelowna firefighters will be collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations to help those in need this holiday season. 

West Kelowna Fire Rescue (WKFR) is hosting its 27th Annual Holiday Food Drive to support the Central Okanagan Food Bank. 

Firefighters will be collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations to help those in need this holiday season. 

The will visit homes to collect donations on the following evenings:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.;
  • Wednesday, Dec. 4, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

If you miss the door-to-door collection, you can drop off donations until Jan. 5 at these locations:

Station 31 - 3651 Old Okanagan Highway (Westbank);
Station 32 - 2708 Olalla Road (Lakeview Heights);
Station 33 - 1805 Westlake Road (Rose Valley);
Station 34 - 3399 Gates Road (Glenrosa);
City Hall - 3731 Old Okanagan Highway.

Every dollar donated gives the food bank $4 in buying power, making your contributions go even further. Your generosity can help brighten the season for families in need.
