Flurries forecast for Okanagan, snowfall warning for Coquihalla Highway

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Coquihalla Highway, stretching from Merritt to Hope.

  • Snowfall expected: 5 to 10 cm, with reduced visibility on the highway.
  • Advisory in effect: Until 12 p.m. today (Nov. 18).


Weather Forecast for the Okanagan (Nov. 18-23):

Today and Tomorrow (Nov. 18-19): Chance of snow or wet flurries.
Wednesday: Periods of snow.
Thursday: Mix of sun and cloud.
Friday: Snow or rain likely.
Weekend (Nov. 23-24): Periods of snow.

Temperatures:

  • Daytime highs: 0°C to 4°C.
  • Overnight lows: Around -4°C, with temperatures dropping to -10°C in Princeton tonight.
