An individual in crisis led to multiple RCMP responding to the 3300 block of Neid Road, on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Kelowna RCMP, officers proceeded with caution.
However, the incident was quickly diffused by police and one person was taken into custody.
Officers are now leaving the scene in East Kelowna.
Multiple RCMP vehicles are blocking Bewlay and Neid Roads in East Kelowna.
According to a witness, about 17 police cruisers were seen travelling down Benvoulin Road towards KLO at a high rate of speed just before 12:30 p.m.
