Crash blocks 2 lanes of Highway 97 near Sexsmith in Kelowna

Drivers are advised to slow down in the area

Multiple emergency vehicles are on scene of a collision on Highway 97 south of Sexsmith Road. 

The incident happened just before 6:30 p.m. Monday, southbound. 

One lane of Highway 97 is open southbound from Sexsmith to Loyd Road. 

Traffic is backing up southbound and drivers are advised to slow down while in the area.
