A nostalgic journey through the tumultuous 1990s in Ukraine is told through the film 㽶ƵֱMe and Felix,㽶Ƶֱ which premieres in Kelowna in May.

It is presented by The Bravery Foundation and Ukraine Harmony Foundation.

The story focuses on the character Tymofiy㽶Ƶֱs coming-of-age and his bond with the enigmatic Afghan war veteran, Felix, portrayed by poet and writer Yuriy Izdryk in his cinematic debut.

Felix, grappling with PTSD, finds solace in music, forming an unlikely friendship with young Tymofiy.

The film is directed by Iryna Tsilyk and is adaptation of the novel 㽶ƵֱWho Are You?㽶Ƶֱ by Artem Chekh..

Presented in Ukrainian with English subtitles, the film debuts on May 9 at the Grand 1o Landmark Cinemas on McCurdy Road.
