Central Okanagan, Penticton search and rescue teams help crashed paraglider

The incident happened on Friday morning, Sept. 27

A joint effort by Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR) and Penticton Search and Rescue (PENSAR) saved a crashed paraglider on Friday, Sept. 27.

In the morning, COSAR was called in to help rescue the paraglider who crashed on Blue Grouse Mountain. 

COSAR and paramedics found and helped the person who was injured. 

PENSAR's helicopter long-line team arrived to help transport the paraglider to an ambulance.
