Canada Day celebrations to end with fireworks over Kelowna

Canada Day celebrations to continue until dark

Kelowna residents are out and celebrating Canada Day, despite intermittent showers of rain.

Venues including Prospera Place, Stuart Park, Tugboat Beach and Waterfront Park are filled with music and people having a fun day. 

Thousands of people wearing red and white enjoyed the sights, sounds and smells of the festivities across downtown Kelowna. 

The fun will continue until 10:30 p.m., when the celebrations end with a bang Ï㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥“ a The display will be best viewed from Tugboat Beach and Waterfront Park.

Concerts at Stuart Park and Waterfront Park will end shortly before the fireworks display, which will begin at 10 p.m.
