The streets of Kelowna will soon have a new look, from the Cultural District to the sidewalks of South Pandosy.
The City of Kelowna is placing new winter-themed street banners adorning lamp posts along Water Street.
These banners have been designed by local artists Liz and Dylan Ranney, the banners will showcase winter activities alongside recognizable Kelowna landmarks.
The Ranneys were selected from an open call for art submissions held earlier this year.

The winter banners are now on display along Water Street between Queensway Ave. and Sunset Dr. and will be reinstalled annually during the winter months.
However, across the highway and to the south, the trees along Pandosy no longer have lights on them and will have to wait a few weeks before the area will shine once again.
According to the City of Kelowna, 香蕉视频直播淭he tree lights were quite old with many lights burnt out or broken and were no longer able to produce the bright holiday aesthetic our residents have come to enjoy.香蕉视频直播
New twinkle lights are on order and will be replaced in the new year in South Pandosy, to once again brighten up the corridor.
The city also added that some of the trees in the area died due to heat stress and other issues and therefore will be replaced next year.
