Expect delays if you are driving on Big White Road this morning (Jan. 22).
Crews will be extracting a vehicle from the ditch near the Gem Lake chair lift.
Big White Ski Resort has notified the public that crews will begin working 10 a.m.
Both lanes of the Big White Road will be closed from 10:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m.
On Saturday, skiers driving up Big White Road were able to see a semi truck wedged into the ditch near Gem Lakes. However, it is not yet confirmed if the semi truck is the vehicle that is being extracted.
