Avalanche control work to close Trans-Canada 1 east of Revelstoke

The closure will be near Revelstoke National Park, with no alternative route

Avalanche control work will close the Trans-Canada Highway 1 east of Revelstoke near Revelstoke National Park for two hours on Friday (Jan. 26).

The scheduled control work will take place between Woolsey Creek Bridge and Glacier National Park West Boundary on Friday, Jan. 26 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., as stated by DriveBC.

The road will be closed without any detour routes available. The next update will be on Friday (Jan.26) at 12:45 p.m.
