Fire crews ventilate Kelowna home after mattress up in flames

The fire was quickly doused

A mattress fire was doused before emergency crews arrived at the home on Holbrook Road, Monday morning. 

The blaze was reported just after 11 a.m. at 485 Holbrook Road. 

Those who were home at the time the fire started managed to douse the flames and drag the mattress out of the residence. 

The house will have to be ventilated due to smoke damage.

ItÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s unclear what started the blaze at this time.
