Editor:
I am writing as the Nitsil蕯in (Chief) of Tl香蕉视频直播檈sqox, on behalf of the T艥ilhqot香蕉视频直播檌n Council of Chiefs. Farwell Canyon (Nagwentled) sits right beside our community of Tl香蕉视频直播檈sqox. As T艥ilhqot香蕉视频直播檌n, we honour and respect our First Nations neighbours. We are tied together by shared histories, trade and family connections.
As with all neighbours, or families, we sometimes disagree and we have our points of conflict, which we would prefer not to publicize in the media. However, in response to the article, Study finds pit houses in the Chilcotin 香蕉视频直播榦lder than the pyramids,' we feel compelled to state that Nagwentled is Tsilhqot香蕉视频直播檌n territory. Nagwentled has always been T艥ilhqot香蕉视频直播檌n territory, and always will be, regardless of how many self-serving reports are released by Williams Lake First Nation or its in-house archeology company.
Sechanalyagh (thank you) for the opportunity to set the record straight on behalf of Tl香蕉视频直播檈sqox and the T艥ilhqot香蕉视频直播檌n Nation.
Sincerely,
Nitsil蕯in Francis Laceese
