Country singer Lee Dinwoodie will perform this weekend at the Westbank Opry香蕉视频直播檚 final show show of the season.
Dinwoodie grew up on a farm near a small prairie town in Lavoy, Alberta. His passion for music came from his mom who sang gospel music and played piano, and filled their home with joy. She bought him a guitar at age 15 and he began writing songs inspired by artists such as Kenny Rogers, Wilf Carter and Johnny Cash.
After his first CD, which received wide media attention, he became highly in demand on therodeo circuit, fairs and headlined many festivals.
Since Lee香蕉视频直播檚 second CD, which was a great success in Canada and Europe, he has performed at events such as Big Valley Jamboree, Merritt Mountain Music Festival, and The Calgary Stampede.
Dinwoodie plays at the opry Sunday beginning at 2 p.m. at the at the Westbank Emmanuel Church on 2600 Hebert Rd.
