The North Okanagan Hospice Society香蕉视频直播檚 (NOHS) return of Dancing with the Vernon Stars this year was nothing short of spectacular. With the finalization of the event香蕉视频直播檚 numbers, NOHS has released the record-breaking totals that reflect the incredible generosity and spirit of the community.
This year香蕉视频直播檚 event was officially the most successful event in the society香蕉视频直播檚 history, raising more funds than ever before through an unforgettable evening of glamour, generosity, and community spirit that raised more than $271,000.
"The contributions are vital to ensuring the society can continue to provide compassionate care, dignity, and support to individuals and families navigating end-of-life journeys," said NOHS executive director Megan Cox.
Nine dancing teams graced the floor and not only celebrated the artistry of dance but also the profound impact of community support.
Numerous records were shattered that night, including the highest amount ever raised by a single team, and then in an unprecedented twist, two teams tied for the top honour.
Rebecca and Sophia Barton of The Disco Balls, and Kari Sargeant and Teresa Sanders of Four Left Feet, fundraised until the very last moment, showcasing extraordinary dedication and determination that highlighted the power of collaboration and commitment that has made NOHS history.
