The lights will be left on as the Vernon Towne Theatre screens a classic film and allows the audience to get creative.
The theatre and Vernon Community Arts Centre present Stitch Flix Sunday, March 16.
While screening My Neighbor Totoro, the audience can bring their work-in-progress project (knitting, stitching, crocheting, or any craft) and create while you watch.
Doors open at 1:30 p.m., show starts at 2:30 p.m.
"Arrive early to make and trade Artist Trading Cards, swap craft supplies with fellow attendees, and get inspired," said Emma Kopp, marketing and events coordinator for the Arts Centre. "This event is open to all ages and is a great opportunity to connect with fellow makers in a relaxed, creative setting."
