Gigging since age 16, each time Foley takes the stage she honours blues and finger-picking heroines like Memphis Minnie and Maybelle Carter, who invented the Carter scratch style that influenced legends like Johnny Cash and Hank Williams Ï㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥“ who, in turn, influenced the likes of Chuck Berry and Elvis Presley, said the SAFMS.

"FoleyÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s ingenuity shines in original compositions like MaybelleÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s Guitar, where the Carter scratch underscores the towering influence of the Carter familyÏ㽶ÊÓƵֱ²¥™s music."
